187 Assistant Lineman Recruitment Notification 2012

Applications are invited from qualified and eligible Male Candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant Lineman in the scale of Rs. 7950-150-8100-190-9050-240-10250-300-11750-360-16790, in Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited.

Application shall be submitted through online from 12.12.2011 to 11.01.2012 till 17.00 Hrs.
Composition of posts :
A. For the candidates possessing a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician” trade form Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by the Government of Karnataka:
Total Vacancies – 94 (in Horizontal Reservation )

B. For the candidates possessing pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes recognized by Government of Karnataka.
Total Vacancies – 93 (in Horizontal Reservation )
Requisite Qualification : 
Should have a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic” trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) recognized by Government of Karnataka.

Note : Candidates possessing qualification in disciplines / branches other than what is specified above need not apply.
Other Qualifications : 
i) Should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing.
ii) Should have normal eye sight.
iii) Should have satisfactory physical fitness and shall qualify in the Endurance Test.
Age: 
The candidates should have attained the age of 18 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of application and shall not be more than;

i) 35 years in case of General Merit candidates.
ii) 38 years in case of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates.
iii) 40 years in case of SC/ST and Category I candidates.

Application Fee : 

1) Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
2) Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category.
